I haven't done anything yet, but I'm looking at these 2 sites for products that will dress up the engine bay.

IIRC its a prototype that he was trying to get into (limited) production. Its all CF, not a layered OEM cover.

You can tell it's real cf by looking in the holes the pattern goes in there. If it was layered or some kind of vynal it would'nt.Who's the maker? and do they make any other under hood pieces.like are front engine piece?

Nah...not yet.

Lower engine cover is still in fabrication.

Working on a different twill for experimentation.

It's a 1 off.

Hopefully not for long though.

I'm trying to help bring this to the CL community.

More details coming later.

I didn't do it myself.

The prototype I actually had made was layered.

Obviously no performance gain...just for looks.

OEM cover weighs nothing anyways so looks are all that matters for this piece.

Would cost more to set that up in complete CF...screw holes and what not.

This was the easy solution and you can't tell the difference.

I can't reveal the maker because I'm not a vendor on this site and I'm not promoting this product.

But trust me...details will be announced when it's the right time.

I'm not doing this so I'm the only one that benefits.

There's a ton of things you can do to dress up your engine bay, you can add an upper strut brace, paint your engine cover or wrap it in CF, replace screws and bolts with new shiney ones, you can redo your vaccuum lines with new tubing, you can redo your engine wires and ground wires, you can add a catch can, new rad overflow bottle, new rad cap, new oil cap, tie up or sheath your wires, the list goes on and on.

I painted my engine trim Gloss Black with Ceramic high temp paint, and clear coat, I painted my AC Condensor with gloss black as well, put a tranny cooler and new horns in, new oil and rad caps (oil cap has been changed), new rad hoses, I also added a 2nd gen battery box to my 1st gen, black intake, ignore the red wires i haven't sleeved them yet. This pic is from a year ago

In the last few months, I have done the Big 3 with new hex 4 Guage wire, and installed a V 6 P ground wire kit, new battery tie down, and new battery terminals, and mounted my HID ballasts from my retrofit)
Big 3 Black 4 Guage

Ground kit and new alt wire

Battery/Alternator Wire run and tied up, Skunk2 Reservoir covers

New Battery Terminals

More Battery Bling

Car is still a work in progress, still waiting to go on is my strut brace, new CF engine covers, a new rad overflow bottle, and a few other toys

How's the engine look with the cover removed? Is powdercoating an option? You can also use wheel paint.
