Exclamation Need Help W/ Paint Flakes!!!!

Guys,
So I just got married a month ago and when people decorated my car instead of using the window chalk stuff they used F'in shoe polish something or other. To get it off, first I tried using the windshield washer @ the gas station, no help, then I tried the pressure washer @ the car wash, and it barely started to flake off. My mother in law said to use a razor blade and chip it off...that worked but then when I rinsed it off and it looked great. Well after a few drives I noticed all those little bastards all over my paint again. A few hand washes later (4 to be exact) and they were still there. Today I just got it detailed ($100), they used this stuff called clay bar and it looks beautiful again all EXEPT the seals around the windows. They said the claybar would mess it up. So now instead of having white flakes all over my SSM color car, I have them all over the black area's around my windows!!! If anybody has any idea's of how to get these things to go away PLEEEEEASE TELL ME!!!!! I'm so pissed right now I wanna kill my best man!!!
Thanks,
-Baum

Step 1. Shoot "friends" that did this.
Step 2. Clay bar entire car
Step3. Polish car with polish (not compound)
Step 4. Fresh Coat of wax
Step5. Enjoy

first of all, congrats on getting hitched. second of all, how could you allow people to put paint on your car's paint?! i know you were all excited about getting some married, but that's a no-no.

and third. you made the mistake of listening to your mother in law of all people about taking a flippin razorblade to your paint!! i would be so pissed if this were a NBP owner.

so now i advise you to take Ntz' advice. claybar it like there's no tomorrow.

Thanks GM! Didn't know about that area

Sun Diego - I didnt allow them to do it I came out of the hotel and it was like that, my wife even said "Oh shit..." b/c she knew that I would flip out. I didn't take a razor blade to the paint, I dont think anyone is that stupid, I did it on the windows only. The flakes that are on the paint you can scratch off with your finger nail if you can get to it.

Clay bar, isopropyl alcohol, dawn soap, etc... should all take it off. If you need more tips the best place is www.autopia.org. Best site for the anal retentive detailers
