NEED HELP... s2k or another cls?

need to make up my mind tomorrow...

2001 s2k red w/10k for 27,000

2003 silver cl type s 6 speed, non navi, 4miles, for 29,000

2003 silver cl type s auto, non navi, spoiler, tint, 3 miles for 29,000

the s2k...hauls ass i like it alot but kinda feel its a girls car. but i feel i could mod it to fit me...

cls/6... i know i have said i wouldnt want a cl with a 6 speed but after driving it , it was nice, i liked it. it only had 4 miles and since i might be buying it i didnt want to rag it out but i'm sure it hauls ass like the s2k...

cls/auto... i also know i have bitched about the auto tranny and my love for the navi. if i get the auto or the 6 i am going to aftermarket navi/dvd. anyway, the auto has a spoiler which i like and im not quite sure if i want to be switching gears. i love my 01 blk/blk navi. btw, we are keeping the 01.

my girl and i are trading in her prelude for one of these three tomorrow i just would like for you guys to help us out here. any other brand of car is out due to my fantastic relationship with my dealer. these guys take care of me 110% and i want to stay true to the acura/honda name plate.

thnx...
winner of the poll gets bought!

CL 6 but you got to get it cheaper than that $29 k no navi is price of new one

s2K is sweet as a second car but it will get boring after a while because the best thing is a car for everything and the CL6 has it. I gives you the sporty feel its luxurious and its afforadable what more do you want. Oh and if you had to carry some people in an emergency you are capable of doing so.

CL 6 speeder no navi, go aftermarket navi and get it for as close as $27k as possible trust me thats what Im getting it for negotiate.

Shit, dbox...the lude's bigger than the CL-S, no?

No TL-S?

I couldn't open the file you sent me last night...it was a .dat or something.

I'd say CL-S 6-speed, but I ain't drivin' it in Houston traffic.

You already have the Auto...get the 6-speed CL-S. Supercharger!

I like that they're both silver, too.

Whats wrong with the prelude, they rule. Unless its a 4th gen, then dump it. But 3rd or 5th gen keep it man.

I love S2K's, man....but CL-S's are more practical while still giving you dead-on-balls speed....that's why I voted for the S2K...why be practical?

Damn, Dayton's a smart one. I'd still lean toward the CL-S 6, but...

It really depends on what you intend to use the car for. If it's a daily driver then the CLS gets my vote. If it's for a weekend cruiser, then the S2k is the way to go.

The CLS prices you quoted are a bit high. I paid that for my CLS 6psd (non-navi) back in October '02. Since the future of the CL is unknown, and the dealers may have some factory incentives, I think you can do alot better on the price of the CLS's. Some people here have posted that they are getting quotes in the 27000 range. For 29K the dealer should be offering a NAVI model.

When I bought my cls I didn't need to buy a car (I've got 2 others). I could have bought *anything* (short of spending $50k). I choose the CLS because I intended to use it as a stock daily commuter car, a role that it fills quite nicely. After I finish paying it off, I'm planning on buying a used S2k, 350Z, older Porsche 911 which will be used as a weekend/good weather car.

It really depends on how you're going to use the car...

Go for the CL 6 you will love it. i almost got rid of my car for the S2k but i cant give it up i love my car to much. I drove the S2k for a half an hour and love the handling but but like Zapta said you will get bored to quick. the speed of the SK2 are close. to the cl so there is not much to gain expect a charlie horse because the car is small
