Need Help Quick! Car in for trans recall.

Help! anyone!
I have had Transmission problems for the last 18 months. The car seems to work perfectly for the dealer. Man that pisses me off. Any way same story this time, I dropped the car off on Saturday. I received the recall letter in the mail, so I thought this would be the time, no more fucking around. The dealer calls me today "We put 45 miles on your car and we do not see any problems" What am I supposed to say to finally get a new Tranny? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it pretty much needs to be slipping consistantly enough for it to happen on a test drive, or the fluid needs to be full of metal and clutch particles.

if not, they'll just add the squirter and you'll have to bring it back when it's really broken.

you really don't have a choice. if it's a bad tranny, it will go out in the next 30K.

Mainly problems with 2nd and 3rd gear. shifts into 3rd prematurely too low of an rpm, when it finally builds up the rpms in 3rd it hard shifts back to 2nd. Downshifting really hard to 2nd, spilled a few cups of coffee on myself with that one. Major pain in the ass.

I don't think those are problems. If you keep it in D5 and don't STOMP on it, it will shift like that (prematurely aka low RPMS). It's trying to save you some gas.

I think some people are going paranoid with everyone telling them all these trannies are dying

When you're going and it's trying to shift from 2nd to third and the rpms keep going up (and I mean almost to redline) while the car is not accelerating, that's when you should start worrying.

dont worry, the recall should allow them to see if there is any wear on the clutch pack for 2nd. if they dont find any "supposedly," just drive for another week or two and it should be done. oh yeah, make sure to insist several times that it is not running properly, have them make note of it in the computer.
