engine swap to a more reliable automatic (TL/Odyssey) or even a 6 speed swap? if not, your first mod should be a $1000 rainy day transmission fund to use once the tranny fails

if you plan to keep the stock automatic, has your timing belt/water pump service been done recently?

might as well check all your fluids across the car, then tackle performance after the basics.

performance can mean many things, what is your goal? bolt-ons, nitrous, supercharger? It sounds like you have a decent start, maybe upgrade the exhaust and headers would be a good start unless you have bigger plans.

the car has about 250 stock IE like 195-200 whp with the auto.. so ur gonna need intake and headers to get to the 270.. this is all ballpark numbers tho.. shit i got every mod under the sun and i only ran 229whp... now i got new mufflers (old ones had holes in them) and the xlr8 HFC so i would guess i'm at 240whp now... but that's still terrible considering all the mods I got lol.... but i love the car to death... when it dies I will buy another and use mine for parts. but we will see when we get there.

Try more like $2-3K if you have it installed Maybe $1K if you do it yourself.

Why spend so much on the car if you're only keeping it a short while?
