If you just want the stock CL roadlamps, they sell for abouit $30 each from dealer and can be wired up at any mechanic shop. but dim light output they are only 5 watts I think, and the stock bulbs are yellower than the HID headlights. they are not fog lights, just running lights.

yea there's no point of the roadlamp, unless you plan to do some kind of crazy retrofit projectors that doesnt melt the housing. I just took mine out a few days ago and it looks a lot better.
If not than you can just put Polarg m6 or PIAA W2 bulbs in which will improve it a little, I roadlamp housing was a little melted due to the high intensity bulb so its up to you.

Nothing will look stock, but any after market fog light can be made to fit & wire up just fine, and still look good.

IMO, the factory roadlamps look much better than any aftermarket foglamp, unless they are hidden behind the grill. No, they don't really serve much purpose but if you get the right bulbs, they will look good. I would not advise the use of the Polarg bulbs though, they'll melt the housing. Go with PIAA all the way! Everyone either likes the factory roadlamps or hates them, to each his own. That being said, check out the black market, someone is always selling some.

But with an 03 the bright housings of the road lamps don't match well with the dark colored headlights. IMHO

Not to argue but I disagree. Many of the members here w/ '01's - '02's paint their headlight housings when they clear them to make them look like '03's. With the road lamps still there, it looks just fine.

You could go with the bright yellow PIAA bulbs discussed elsewhere for a 'Lexus' look.

Chrisk-
So the PIAA higher watt bulbs don't melt the housing? I thought all the higher wattage bulbs have done this. I just ordered the PIAA low 5 watts #19172 to avoid meltdown, but I wanted the brighter PIAA look. I wanted to try the 5 watt yellow look too.

I have had both PIAA 19224's and currently the yellow 19173's installed. I have not had any housing melting going on. It seems like I have read that the Polargs are more likely to do this. I really like the yellow look. A few friends of mine say they think it looks better with the yellows than the HID matching 19224's.

Same here. I like the yellow look too, if it's not going to add any real light to the road. What I did notice from my 19224's was that the blue coating eventually came off and my road lamps looked like shit.

If you are looking for function out of your fog lamps, then I suggest getting aftermarket ones. I personally don't think I need them, but I like the way the road lamps look.

I did drop one into the housing. It was fun trying to get all the pieces out.

i like mine, for the most part i think they look just as good if not better than the stock lamps, plus they are way brighter and look nicer at night. only about $120 from ebay and for reference these are piaa 2100xt fog lights.
