Need advice on High beam bulbs...

i did a search and couldn't find what i was really looking for. so i need advice and suggestions from people who have replaced their high beams. i'm looking for high beam bulbs that will have that blue reflection in the housing when they are off but will not really sacrifice brightness when they are on. i've read that solaris have a tendency to burn out after a year. i feel the are kinda pricey too. any suggestions?

go buy the solaris high beams if you are going to actually use your highbeams and want a good match w/ you hid's. If you just looking for blue glow and don't use the highbeams like me go get the nokya's or any kind of cheap blue blub from any performance shop. vertex has the ones I use.

doesn't seem to be! the process is pretty much described in the manual. and if you do a search on "high beams", there're some guys who explain it in detail. i think the toughest part is removing the reservoir behind the driver side lights...but that shouldn't be too difficult. also, per everyones warning, do not touch the bulbs themselves ( the glass part ).

i thought the high beam was 9005....i'm gonna be pissed if it's not because I just took the 9006's back and exchanged them for the 9005's. btw, I'm using PIAA's.

For 1st gen it's

LOW BEAM 9006
High BEAM 9005

I don't think the would have changed it, but I might be wrong.
Just look at old ones.
