Need advice for the dragstrip

im currently on my 19's, with the yokohama prada's, but i have my stocks still around. what would be more bennifical for my 1/4 time, stickin to my 19's, or using the stocks? i might get new tires for the stocks but i dont know yet, if anything they question is will the 19's effect my times vs stocks, they weigh about the same.

use the stocks w/ some 235/40's. you will run quicker than on the 19's.

wwhich tires to choose?any of you ever experienced these tires, i know the t1-s had some good reviews, but which of these would fit the usage better? im leaning toward the Azenis Sport b/c its cheaper, and its a d.o.t approved drag radial.

For the best times, it's my opinion that you stick with the 215/50/17 stock size tire and wheel. Get a tire like the Yoko AVS ES 100's. A little practice coming out of the hole will help you also. The wheel was designed for this car. Remember, the bigger the wheel and the wider the tread will need more HP to run. This could hurt your quarter mile times. It's best to stay standard and get a stickier tire (in my opinion). Good luck!

smaller diameter tire = better gear ratio = better 1/4 mile time.

depends on the weight of the 19in wheels + tires compared to a stock setup. The difference will vary but for the 1/4mile run on 19s, you can expect a higher MPH.
