Need advice!

I was sitting at a red light today and all of sudden check engine and vsa comes on and the car starts bogging down and shuts off. The car was running fine no problems before this happened. Started back up pulled into a parking lot and it kept boging down trying to shut off so i went to rev it up and the tach would not go past 3krpm. It was like there was a rev limiter set at 3k. So I managed to get it to honda because the nearest acura dealership is hour and half away. Honda said its throwing a bunch of codes, feeze map sensor, map sensor, speed senor on for the wheels and 2 other ones i could not remember. Even when i was driving i would have to shift before 3k or it will tach out, i was in ss mode so i could keep the rpms up above 2k. He was saying that he was just going to start replacing senors until something worked, i didnt like that answer so i told him i will be there in the morning to talk to the head mechanic and explain what kind of mods i have. I had the neo tuned for a month now and no problem, you think this is b/c of the neo? Help me out guys!! What should i do about this?

Sounds like a trans. Not going past 3K RPM would be limp mode.

it all depends on the dealership. go to the most expensive, nice dealership you can find. they are the ones with the most interest in customer service and will be most likely to goodwill a new transmission. thats what i did at least.

7 years (from the in service date) or 109K miles is the standard tranny warranty on 01, 02 and some 03's...

Some dealerships will "good will" a tranny after those limits tho'... buy YMMV...

Thanks for the info, but what does "YMMV" mean?
