Navigation Pin -- No card

Hello,
I just got my CL-S back from the body shop after 1 month of repair (an almost-total-loss, missed it by $1000 - damn!) -- Anyway, the battery was shorted, and replaced, and now the navigation asks for a pin code when it turns on, and i lost the card that came with the car, anyone know how i can figure out the pin other than just sitting all day goign 0001 0002 0003 etc... ?

Call your dealer and give them the VIN.
That works for the radio, so I’m sure it’s the same for the NAV.

So, call one in Hawaii if you’re really in THAT much of a hurry.
It’s only 4:30PM there right now.

I'm not sure if this is on everyones car.. but if you open your glove box and look on the outside of it on the drivers side, there is a sticker there with four numbers and some numbers and letters below that...this is on my car and it's actually my navi code.. go figure.. Not sure if the dealer put it there or not.. but it's worth a look...

I'm curious.. is this on anyone else's glove box??

Mine is on a sticker, which in theory it could have been put in the glove box. Mine wasn't.

However, it is retarded to leave it there.

You need the serial number from the back of the navi unit in the trunk to get the code. You cannot get it from just the vin#. When the car goes through Pre-delivery Inspection, the stickers with the numbers (there are 2) are usually put on the code card that is given to you and the other is placed whereever the particular dealer has decided to put it. I personally don't like the idea of putting on the car somewhere because it defeats the purpose of an anti-theft code, if the theif can find it in the car. We attach the second copy to the repair order that goes in the customers file, so we will always have a backup in case there is a computer foul up.
