It may peel off but it looks 10x less gay than black ones on a car that isn't black.

And that sub box is laughably huge, esp cosidering how huge our trunk is!!!

My friend once told me you get more bass having the subs facing the back, it adds a few db. I dont know how but i tried it in my old car and it did give more bass.

Why didn't you remove the "chrome wing"? IMO, the grille looks better without it.

Yes the sub box is HUGE! Give you a comparison. My car before this was a Chrysler 300M. I had that box in the trunk. It fit perfect between the wheel wells. & still had ALOT of trunk space, & I could still get the spare. That's how big that trunk, & car was. I tried to fit it in the CL-S It looks so big in there. I am swapping it out for one of those Infinity basslinks. I have heard them, & I need the trunk space back. They are small enough that I can get 2 if I feel the need. The amp as well as a cap are mounted to the back of the box. This thing is TOO LOUD. It's all bass I hate it, but to lazy to take it out now. I'll wait untill I get the basslink. The box is specially made. The way the 2 12's are mounted, that little angled recess makes a horn. Createing a horn loaded design giving a full 3-4db boost in bass. Bass has a long wavelenth. So the more space between the sub & a flat suface the better. So by facing the sub to the rear, the soundwave bounces off the trunk lid, & enforces the soundwave you hear & feel in the drivers seat. That's why it's louder.

I bought the mudflaps from ACP. Had a body shop do the paint work. Cost $100 to paint. I had the dealer install them when I got the spolier put on. They charged me another $100 for that. I really don't think the paint will peel off. Once on the car, they are really stiff. They don't flex at all. The paint is also good quailty. Clearcoated, & they baked them too. I Zaino'd them very well before they went on also. They have a 1 year warranty on the paint job.

Since I go on road trips too, I have the Acura Bra. I will need to take the mesh grill off to put the hood piece on. That's why I didn't take the wing off. I though about cutting slotes into the grill to allow the fasteners to fit though, but it would be too ugly.
