Navi PIN

Hey all, I've had my 03' Cl-S 6MT/w NAVI for about a year now and I''m just starting to thoroughly use my NAVI system. Today I came accross the area where it asks for a PIN. I don't have any PIN numbers and they're not in my manual because I got a brand new manual when I bought my car. I was wondering if there was a default PIN for these things and maybe some sort of guide. I believe my Navi version is 2.05f.
Thanks for the help

P.S. I did a search already and didn't find anything.

Call the dealer and give them your VIN# i'm sure they will have it. When I purchased my 01 CLS with navi it had the navi code card in the manual. I would call the dealer for your situation.

Is your Navi working?
If so, I think the PIN # is a user set password to lock out other people from using your Navi settings, do you have the manual instructions handy??
If Navi is not working you may need the dealer for the code.

When I purchased my 03 6mt w/ navi I wasnt sure about the personal addresses with the pin either. i read through the manual and was able to set my own pin and then save all my address I only wanted the primary driver to have access to. The navi manual explained it pretty well.

Why would you need to lock out your navi?

Because you can save addresses and phone #'s. Its to keep anyone else (valet, mechanic, parent, friend, etc.) who might be in your car out of your personal information.

Umm...I never got a manual for my NAVI. Because of this I am having to learn by poking around so I really don't know what the PIN does. But if it's useful I would like to have it. I'll just call the dealer and get it and see if I can get a manual since I never had one.

Thanks all

open your glove box and there should be a sticker on the side of it. There should be a four digit number and that should be it..... Check the audio and video section. That's where the thread was at....

Actually the previous owner could have reset the password. I know when I got my car I reset it to my own personal password. What I would do is disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes, when the navi turns on it will ask for your navi code (your radio will do the same). The next step would be to get navi code from where you said in the glove box and enter that. I think that is your only option, even the dealer would go about dealing with this situation with those steps...

Yeah you would have to find the radio code as well. I think its better just to go to the dealer they will help out...
