Navi Hacking Anyone?

On my daily commute I don't use the NAV but I would like to have the clock since it is the only one in the car. I know you can press the little time display on the bottom right and it makes it larger and centers on the screen with the starry background but this looks so cheesy. Has anyone tried hacking the navi to:

1) Change font/graphic of the starry screen with time.
I think a 3D Chrome rotating time display would be awesome.
2) Get rid of the stupid disclaimer where you have to press ok.

I seems ridiculous to have to press that every time I get into the car. You should have to press it once when you buy the car and thats it.

Yeah a lot of new cars apperantly won't let you mess with Navi while driving. No one has messed with their Navi though? I find that hard to believe. Well I guess I will be the first to try...will let y'all know what I find.

We haven't messed with it because there's nothing wrong with it. Besides the lack of information on it.

My Navi standby screen has a large red American flag waving on it....oh wait, that's my DVD playing the Star Spangled Banner in the morning on my way into work.

Can 't answer your specific questions, but if you want into the 'special' screens, hold down

Menu
Map/Guide
Cancel

At the same time for about 5 seconds...

You are on your own from there, but BE CAREFUL!!!! You can really mess things up if you do not know what you are doing!!!

<disclaimer>

I do not condone this...

Don't do this,

not a good idea,

don't blame me,

yada, yada, yada
