You can order online from here as well:
https://ecominet2.alpine-usa.com/pls...r?p_make=Acura
For the CL, it is version 2.11b
Also, anyone know how old 2.05b is? That is what is in my '03 CL-S and I was wondering if the data is 1 year, 2 years or 3 years old.

But against my better judgment my evil twin (who can be reached at shawnsef@ptd.net ) has been know to do such things.

Where is my super sauce?
The new upgrade disc is available to be pre-ordered. We anticipate the disc will be ship the week of November 17, 2003. Your credit card will not be billed until the order actually ships. If you wish to pre-order the disc please minimize this window .
It would be nice if the FAQ/Coverage stated how many POI upgrades there are. For me, these are more important then the current maps which already have pretty good coverage for my area.

Oh………..BTW
Take it with a grain of salt, but the guy said it has SEVEN MILLION points of interest and is the same database the new TSX & TL use.
Different system obviously, but it’s supposed to be the same road database.
Looks like this is “the one”.

From the Acura site on the new TL............
The 2004 TL is available with the Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition™, so you can find your way with a few keystrokes or a quick voice command. A large 8-inch flat screen features user-friendly controls and draws on a 48-state database to provide more than seven million points of interest.

Coming to a city near you
some body should just make a Bit torrent file of it, we would have plenty of seeders between all of us and the TL members.
somebody should probably sticky this thread too. This is pretty worthy news

Where is my super sauce?
You know, I just went ahead and ordered mine too. I was thinking of waiting, but then thought that if I do I may have to wait for more DVDs to be produced and released. Who knows, the way the update has been going they may have only made 3 copies.
Anyway, since they won't charge your card until it's shipped, there's really nothing to lose (except $185+$6 s/h).

hey, kinda dumb question here, but does the upgrade (i've got the 01 dvd :o ) have a different layout? i mean, the display, with the buttons, how the icons are and all that (not very good at explaining here...) but, is the "OS" different with an upgrade?

Looked at the Coverage Area for NJ, didn't add enough to make me buy it from them.
To many areas that I drive are unmapped and not listed on the new coverage from the site.

I haven’t seen an actual listing for the new one.
If you have, please share.
