navi DVD question
Hey guys,
Is 2.11c going to be the last version? The reason I ask is because I live near the Boston area and I'm pretty sure 2.11c doesn't have all the new routes (because of the Big Dig). Can anyone verify that for me?
Well in any case, should I just buy 2.11c or hold off, hoping a new version will come out?
Thanks,
Mahendra

Yeah i'm pretty sure 2.11c will be the last version. When it came out a few months ago i believe Acura even said this was the final one for this gen of Navi systems.
But I’d definitely ask a MA member about how the coverage is on the new DVD up in Boston.

I think that it will be the last update.
But someone mentioned in another thread that the Honda Pilot is still using our same system.
Maybe they will keep the updates going for them.
Otherwise that sucks for someone buying a 2005 Pilot that plans to keep it for a few years.

There's a lot of vehicles out there that use the older DVDs out there. I'm sure Honda will run the numbers and if a lot of people buy 2.11c it might be profitable for them to make another update.
As for the MA coverage, the disc was pressed in July 2003 so any road changes after that date are not on there. In my limited experience driving in Boston, I can say I don't see any of the Big Dig changes on there. Your only hope would be for the next update.
