Hi all. Long time member but haven't posted in a long time. My Navi unit has the dreaded 0:00 on the clock. I've been in contact with Acura twice now. They sent me an update disc, twice, butt it only works up to 2.11c. I specifically told them both times I have the 2.30 version of the software. This is the latest and last release made available for our systems. Has anyone had success in updating this version (2.30)??? Does anyone have a disc they could lend me? At this point I'm just afraid Acura is only going to send me the wrong disc.....a third time. 🤦🏻♂️ I have tri d using the disc they sent and I locks my system up causing me to disconnect the battery and reconnect in order to get the system to boot up again.

Hmm, I had called Acura about my clock problem a year ago I guess. Out of the blue (I think Honda CS) sent me an DVD update to the Navi and a patch DVD! I did the update. Then I loaded the patch disc. Clock came back but it broke my Navi. I called Honda and they warrantied it all, removed my DVD drive, shipped it to CA. Took a while but it works pretty well now. Sometimes at start I get a 'wrong disc' warning, but I'm fine with that. I do not have the patch disc, it went to CA.

Still shocked that Honda warrantied this fix on my 15 year old CLS, but it was their patch that broke my Navi. Honda's customer service was amazing!! They were very helpful, and always called to check in etc. I was shocked. The local Acura dealer, who only removed and reinstalled the drive dropped the ball at every turn, very poor service from the Acura dealer.
I'm probably moving on to a Honda next year. I've driven Acura coupes for 2 or 3 decades, but my CLS 6MT is the last Acura that I liked. Good luck with your fix!

Call (888)528-7876. Have your vin and DVD version number info handy. They will send you update disks to fix the clock.

There was an article printed in USA Today that linked the 40th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death to this 0:00 glitch (it 0:00'ed at the exact date of EP's death). I printed the article & keep it in my records because it's now part of the CL's quirky history

 

I did this twice. They still sent me the wrong disc both times .😡 Thats why I posted this thread to see if anyone had one that could fix the 2013 map update.
