Nasty Wind in CA

DAMN THE WIND TODAY! At least I think it was the wind I was at Petco buying a betta for my gf, when I come out of the store with her and although I parked where no one was within two spots of me, low and behold a petco shopping cart laying against my car. Now this wasnt just next to my car on the street..oh no. I had to park where there was a planter next to me and a sidewalk in front of me so the cart was laying with the metal handle bars on top of my hood. I run over and toss the cart against the petco wall and started to check out my car. Damn plastic cart left a lot of wounds on my cl!! Hopefully I can get these polished out......not sure yet. Sorry just venting a little. Kinda pissed....it scratched my car big on the sides!@!

Frickin Santa Ana winds.....I also have a "wind story". I was driving on the 55 South and all of a sudden I see a little dust bowl in front of me and it pummels my car...I think it scratched my glass. >:/ Oh well I'll try scratching it off later...I hate this weather. It's making my contacts all dry and crap.

I'd rather live with this than sub-zero temperature in the east. My cousins just went back home to Toronto this morning. I have repeatedly asked them if they are sure they want to leave the sunny warm weather (80 degrees today!) and go back to the freezer locker!!

sounds like a horror story. I've been wondering what I'll do the first time somebody puts a scratch on my car. the wind / shopping cart thing adds a new twist, like who to kill.

my cl replaces a prelude that was totalled in a wind storm. I drive down highway 93 (notorious wind tunnel) on the front range from boulder to denver when I'm in town. scenic 75+ mph commute. so one morning I'm flying down the road toward what looks like snow blowing over the top of a hill. the snow turned out to be gravel and devestated every square inch my perfect prelude si in about three seconds. shattered windows, etc.

I almost turned around the other morning when chinook winds hit.

Man...it seems that most of the scratches are only very light, but one of them is down there...must have been the metal handle! KavexTrax, I hear you man...I was driving 40 a couple of days ago on the freeways because I didn't want to get near those trucks!! Anyone else in CA, why is it so damn hot these days!! Im serious, Im not trying to start anything with the east coasts people in snow, I like warm weather too, but hell...80 degrees in the winter time is ridiculous!!
