Nail polish on leather

Does anyone know how to get dried nailpolish off of the leather seats without destroying the leather. I didn't want to use polish remover and have it stain or fade the seat

If you are female, use Goof-Off followed by a good leather conditioner to even the color.

If you are male, don't complain; tell her you leave it there to remind you of her when she's not around.

If you are male and it's your polish, buy a low-rider.

Actually I am a male but I'd rather not be reminded of the 70yr old lady bought the car from so I might try the first method.

Goof off should do the trick. You may be able to scrape it off lightly with your fingernail without ruining anything. Never ever use nail polish remover on anything. Most of the time it contains acetone which ruins everything.

Since Sleepersol is male, and inherited the problem, let's be kind and not go there; if a 70 year old lady maintained the car, he's got enough problems.

PS- I had black magic marker on my seat when I bought my CL, and the goof-off worked good but left a light colored area. The leather conditioner brought the color back to like new. Use the goof-off sparingly on a rag or paper towel, do not apply directly. Use only what you need to remove it.

PSS- no offense to low-riders.

What color is your 01? I have black, with parchie leather. Black leather may be tougher to get it out.
