yeah seriously man stop YELLING!

why can't we post link to another forum anyway? seems kind of counter-intuitive to the spreading of knowledge that is intended by this grand internet thing we got goin on. Plus it's a bit castro-esque no?

...but Acurazine FTW!

obviously no one knows shit bout this stuff ON THIS FORUM [ooops caps lock lol], and im sure of it from my experience. there are very few who do. if people want to build on engines, this is the last car they would pick. outside this forum, this car is so rare...but i think you're onto something good because i think VTEC is amazing and if you match the right parts, you could get some crazy numbers...

yeah there you go, thats the only kind of response you'll get from 95% of this forum!!

good luck with it!

I agree with white3.2.... this is a very expensive engine to be fooling around with, but with what little (and i do mean little) that i've read about these they end up with nice numbers (but i've only read on the J35....) again you're in uncharted waters, but if you have the $$$ by all means go ahead! and be a pioneer in the J32s.

why would you pay for custom ringset? do you plan on adding a blower? i dont think s2000 injectors are necessary at all, people have laid down 400+hp on the stock injectors.

search the username "typeR" and then mine, then you will get all the info you need.

If i may ask do u know why ppl are not using the 3.5 rl block as a stroked for the type s conversion to 3.5.
I believe there are some simmilarities in type s and RL engine.

Doesn't seem like there is any reason it shouldn't work...why are you going with all the comptech stuff and not the oem acura parts from like an odyssey 3.5 as most others do?

Are you planning on doing a heavy amount of boost or something? Cause then I'd say your on target and may actually need the S2K injectors. If this your plan, then game on.

There not as strong on wat im going to be doing and yeah ur right Im planning

heavy mount of boost and yeah thats why i have picked up s2k injectors i quess

the other guy didnt understand... lol... but it really comes down to this i

wanna know how much more power to be gained by using all high end parts im

tired of only CAI, Tein SS, Xs headers and a superchager which gives out good

power Supercharger Kit (2003 CL-S 6-Speed) Additional 54-57 wheel horsepower

for$4,495.00 man i want more for that ... Wat bout head work trainy work bottom

block work or a bored throttle body maybe to 71mm if u look @ all the people

buyin the supercharger first without doin real work first I wonder....instead of

payin wateva price for the Charger kit coming with the regular pully or even the

high boost pully why wouldnt they build the engine up more first we reall havent

seen that much...

if they just came out wit the Plentums from for $600 u see they found power i

gotta get me a pair

why would you title a thread "N/A Build" and then expect people to know you are boosting? seriously this thread should be closed.

First of all, what's with using d's to replace th? It's "the" not "da", and it's "that", not "dat". I don't get it. Is this baby talk or something? If you want to be taken seriously then use normal grammar, not this crap.

Secondly, I agree with CleanCL, this thread was started to discuss a N/A set up and now you're talking about boosting it. If you were expecting people to know you were building it up to boost then you should have stated that.

Thirdly, if you're so set on doing it, then don't get pissed at people for telling you to just get a supercharger, just do it and prove everyone wrong. Why do you need anyone's approval or opinion? And for your info CleanCL has actually built a 3.5, so you might want to listen to what he has to say and not call him a dick.

Forthy... eh, there is no forthly, this thread is just stupid.

I don't think hes aware of nearly how much money realistically he will have to spend.

When I blew my motor and planned on doing the 3.5 with custom rods/pistons etc, the estimate came to over 6k for a reliable powerplant to handle the boost I was going to throw at it (Rods = 1200 Pistons = 800 Crank = 3-400 machining building and balancing etc etc plus Clutch Flywheel and PP).

I already had dumped well over 10k into the car from my previous mods. I decided to hell with it since I would have invested more money then this car was worth and scrapped the idea entirely towards a better platform (E46 M3 or a 135i)

Seriously, the reason why many people talk about it, sure it sounds awesome but the majority don't have the money to do it. And in my case I could have done it but felt it woulda been a waste of money since I would never recoupe what I dumped into the car and still would not give me the performance and driving experience I'll probably get from the BMW.

to be honest, i cannot understand a word you just said. but regardless, if you had done what i said (searched), you would find some people who built a 3.5L (including myself).

If you really want to make mad power, fam, then you are going to need to do a turbo with a jacked up amount of boost...a supercharger most likely won't get you there considering there is really only one out there for us to work with. go look in the black market at the cl turbo show car for sale to get an idea.

Wow. I'm guessing your avatar is an x-ray of your head? It would pretty much explain it all.

I'm calling that this never happens and if it does it's going to involve a Flux Capacitor and the Mystery Mod.
