Question Motor Mount Solutions

Hey guys, I'm sick and tired of busting my motors so easily. These POS were designed for a 3.0 liter Accord and carried over to the CLs/TLs.

Anyway, anyone tried anything yet? I know I saw some posts here and there, but search didn't give me what I wanted.

Here's what I'm evaluating and would like some thoughts.

These say they are for the Accord V6 3.0 which supposedly is the same as ours. These are $299 for the front and rear, which is about $60 more than the stock ones.

I'm also looking at some of the DIY kits. The only thing I can't tell until I take the front and rear mounts off, is can they be strengthened properly?

This is the cheaper of the 2 DYI kits, and isn't a comprehensive as the next one.

This one sounds good.

I have been waiting for someone to try this setup on the J series. I sell these kits to all my local customers with B, D, H, and K series engines. There is less vibration with less of a price tag than any of the other kits out there. Quality is top notch.

If you need a set let me know.

whoa, whoa, you hurt my feelings i have Innovative mounts for more than 6 months now. Few of us start it all, we became guinea pigs so it can make it in production. What i can say is, it's night and day difference VS OEM. less wheelhop, a little vibration on the cabin, felt the car response better.

Hum, since Accord_V6_400m amd SirSig have them and it works, what kind of group buy deal could you put together?

LOL, I hope you know that I'm referring to the OEM mounts.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I'm really thinking about getting these. And do the side mounts using the DIY approach.

I knew I saw a couple of responses on this in some other threads. Mine are so bad now that it feels like there's nothing there anymore.

And thanks for helping the family out.

Well we were going to do something about the side mount but I think that fell apart, You can pretty much get them for $300 now at their site.

Our group buy price that we had before was $400 so be happy

Okay, I'm not following you on this. Here's what I think I understand.

If the regular price for the front and rear mounts is $299, are you saying the sides are $300? And then the group buy was $400 for all 4?

Also, was the group buy done on the Acurazine site or on some other forum?

Originally the F&R mounts were $400 for the first group buy through C&C Autotunners. Innovative offers them through their website for $300 for the F&R set. SIRSIG & Accord_V6_400m (I Believe) were working on getting the side mounts made. SIRSIG I think, has the side mounts already..? The groupbuy was originally done over @ V 6 P . NeT.

Thanks for the clarification.

$400! WOW, I think we'd worked to find a cheaper alternative.

you can call Innovative and ask them if they have one for the passenger side now. I think it's $50 more, the F&R are the only ones that you really need, imo. You can DIY the side (poly filled). No offense to those who have torque dampners (on factory location) on their rides but, you really don't need them with this mounts and eventually you'll destroy your mounts anyway... also, i did the DIY poly fill on the OEM F&R before, they're just useless cause you really not stiffining the mount, they're strut like...

Innovative promise and back this product up with LIFETIME warranty. Like i said there's very little vibration on the steering wheel (feels like you just turned on your AC) i get less wheel hop, feels the engine/car response way better than OEM, and to think that my mounts will NOT bust and get them change again and again with the same crappy OEM, is a bit awesome i think... only down side is the install, It's a little tricky on the back to some newbie mechanics.

It's just up to you if you want this for your car or not...

Actually I just spoke to him. He has plenty in stock. I can do $275 shipped on the set of front and rear. If you want to get a GB together and get at least 10 guys together I can do $250 shipped.

Yeah seriously!! You guys should consider yourselves extremely lucky that these are even being made and for this great price too! Its only a little more then what OEM mounts cost, this truly is a no brainer

Excelerate, can you check with your contact and see what the story is on the rear mount is for the 6speeds? Thanks.

If they have a solution, we're ready to move on and get the orders in.

The rear mount is different on the CL-S M/T. I can have rear mount made up. I just need to source a rear mount. Also I can have a side mount made too. I just need to source one. So if anyone has an extra one let me know. Otherwise I will have to buy them brand new.

We'd hate for you to buy new ones, so let's go you 6speed fans . . .

Excelerate, by the way, did they mention what the price would be for the manual rear, and for the side mount?

The side should be easy to come by. Many have replaced it. The rear manual mount i have a feeling will be more difficult. The rear mount looks something like the side (but bigger)

My good buddy CleanCL already has a side mount on its way to me. I just need a rear mount now. Guys check your local junkyards or your garge. If you find one let me know.

Any update on group buy for these mounts?

Also, how hard are these mounts to install? and typically how long does it take?
