Anyone know what this thing is or does? i tried getting the best pic's that i could, its on the dash on the right side by where the key is, here are some pics, anyone know what this thing does?

im thinking this is a PERFFFFFFECT spot to put the microphone for my new z1 head unit....

Yes. it's on the same page as the sunlight sensor (on the dash near the windsheild).

Alot of our new members have bought their cars on the used market. Some of 'em with 2 or 3 owners probably, so some of them might not have owners manuals...

For those of 'em that don't have the manuals, ok, but shame on anyone who considers themselves a "car guy" and doesn't read the manual...

 

i know i know...i feel kind of bad about what i said now, but jesus, some of these threads are just amazing.

 

mine didn't come with an owners manual. but since i know everything already, it was no problem.
i have had a few other cars that had that that didn't have climate control though.

Apparently everyone here knows everything, god forbid you ask a question that is already answered somewhere, or *mistakenly* bump an old thread with out at least 30 people flaming you. how ridiculous and petty, don't these people have other more interesting threads to post in, if thats the case?

yeah no this wasnt in reference to you: this was in reference to private pm that i sent this particular member just asking them to not post in my thread if they just basically had nothing but a flame to post, in regards to an admittedly "dumb" question or post.

like i stated above, any attempt to reason with this person and ask them to not post in my threads politely was met with the typical "im better than you, ill do whatever i want, blah blah blah rhetoric." i think thats gay. Everyone in an E-mail or on a thread is brave, its a different story altogether in real life.
