Is this my tranny causing this?!?!

2001 CL premuim wont shift and no vtech: Unit was flashing check engine light at high rpms. Lately it seems as if the tranny is slipping because when running it hard unit will not shift unless you let go the gas to allow it to shift. The car seems as if it doesnt have the same power at all as it should. I have had two tranny's replaced which just seemed to go out all together. I am at 82,000 and the car has never felt like this before. Several months before it throw the vtech solenoid failure code but was told it was due to dirty oil. I am not due for an oil change or anything just yet however I can almost sware I am not getting any vtech at all. Has anyone ever experienced this? Could it just be my tranny is going out or is there much much more to it. So I guess again my question is will a bad tranny cause these issues???

no vtec = no oil pressure

Be careful and check your oil.

What gears are causing the most problems? If it's around the 2-4 range then kiss your tranny goodbye.

Change oil or atleast make sure there is enough oil in there.

There is a good chance your trans is also messed up. On my first transmission it had trouble engaging from 2->3.

Also, get the ECU read. There may be a code stored in it.
