My Sport Shift goes to 7....
7G-tronic owns me.
my mom's new E500 came in a couple days ago. this car is really amazing. everything inside is very very well put together and solid feeling. the breaks are awesome, it feels like it could stop on a dime. the engine pulls pretty hard and you'd have no trouble merging. my favorite part is the 7 speed auto tranny. its fun shifting through the gears in sport shift and going all the way up to 7. no worries guys, i know its still in the break in period so i kept the driving more relaxed than in my car. the navigation gets alot of criticism for being "outdated" which im sure it is, but it works pretty well. and the dash is great, i love how in the middle of the spedometer is a display for menus (you can cycle thru audio, navigation info, trip info, any malfunction, and if you get the optional phone which we didnt, you can cycle thru your stored phonebook and call people all from the buttons on the stearing wheel.)
so far this car is really an amazing thing. i drove the CL55 and i cant even begin to imagine how the E55 must feel with 170 more HP than the E500.
BTW, my dad is working on getting the 18 inch E55 AMG rims, he's not a fan of the 5 solid spoke wheel.

is the e500 alot quicker than your cl-s, my cousin has his on order and wanst to race when he gets it in, hes gettin a 4 matic though cause the winters here suck

yeah i'd say its def quicker than the cls, it feels like it pulls more solidly at higher speeds but i havent really opened it up yet seeing as its still in the break in period. but from what ive done, it moves when you need it definitly.

Nice very nice. I wanted a e500 w/ the pan. glass roof w/ the solar panels .

I belive most bmw's do this minus the phone but my 740il has the phone options and it rocks!

its not really that impressive, its nice but its just a house on the water. the views at sunset, night and during a clear day are what make the place really nice. we've got some awesome pics off the top floor balcony from sunset. chicks love that top floor, its like a guest place with a bed, couches, tv and bathroom. the bed room portion of it is a hexagon with windows all around, i dont know how many girls have told me that they think that would be the most awesome place to fuck, they call it the "shag room".
