Very nice even if it is red. No just kidding, the red is beautiful. One question though. How much is Baranco Acura paying you to advertise for them. I know you can do something with that temporary front plate.

Good luck

I would love to . Since the dealer put the shitty front plate holder on , I have the holes in the front bumper, so until I find a nice plate for the front , I guess I will leave this crap on . Anyone have any suggestions for a front plate. How about a nice Acura-CL.com plate ????

Ouch! Sorry. Didn't know that yours was attached (stupidly) onto the bumper. Mine's on the bracket so taking off the advertising was not a "holey" problem. I mean you'd think that the dealership would have the customer's satisfaction in mind by doing something as small as a bracket, but HUGE when it means holes in your bumper.

Maybe you could put another plate that reads "Ugly plate here because Baranco Acura carelessly drills holes in bumpers

Anyways your ride still looks great.

That is a pretty cool idea, there is a shop in the mall here that makes custom plates. I was thinking about having a nice chrome Acura-CL.com
Yeah the dealer isnt too bad though . I got a great deal on it . Sales lady really sucked though . they had an S2000 so I asked her about it , she said it was a V-8 . Never heard of a V-8 S2000 before, would be cool.

Nice ride & nice pics...

Why don't you do a little hard-wiring and get the radar detector cord out of the way. It's easy to do and only takes about fifteen minutes. Just pop off the plastic molding around the windshield, run the cord down, snap the molding back on, ground one wire, then stick the other wire into a acc slot in the fuse box...then viola...it's out of your way forever.

Plus, I think your guaranteed to get a ticket if a cop pulls you over and sees the big daddy radar detector and cord drooping down for the windshield. At least this way, you've a fifty/fifty shot that the cop won't see it.

anyway...it's just a thought -

DUDE That is WRONG, REAL WRONG! Take back your car and demand they replace your front bumper! There is NO excuese for holes on the bumper of this car. there IS a special bracket that enables you to mount the plates under the bumper.

I'd demand this be done. I would not settle for anything less. I HATE the way our car look with ANY plate on the front. The nose is too pointed on our cars to stick a big huge ugly black frame/plate on it.

Anyone else agree?

My CLS came with frame that fits exactly how the bummper is pointed. I believe that is connected from the below the bumper cause once when I was removing some snow from the upper part of the frame I felt it's only connected from below.

It is not ugly, I used to it now, and I would like to have one reason LESS to get pulled over.

Nice! Mine's a red CLS too, and i've only got two things you may want to consider:

1. Get the dealer plate off there (as others said)...and get an acura-cl.com plate.

2. Get the spoiler. For some reason the tail on the red CL's look really rotund. the spoiler slims it down and brings the look together.

Just my $.02.

Keep her clean my friend,

If you check out the link in my sig, you can see what the red looks like from the side with a spoiler. i would also get rid of teh front plate.. my dealer just threw it in the trunk and said "if you want it . . " I dont think i evne have it now. . :-) gee mr occifer, i never got one of them?!?! You could always egt a license plate cover that says (backwards): "Yes, you are in my way". That way cars see it in their reay view mirror...

Are you on the south side of town?? Never dealt with Baranco but they should never of drilled the bumper. There is a bracket and bolt holes under the bumper, and we don't even require a front plates...

We're gonna be doing a little mountain driving next weekend, interested??
