My new rims have some flaws, should I return them??????

The lip where the center cap sits is missing paint on 2 out of 4 of the rims. The spots are about half the size of a finger nail clipping. Am I just being TOOOOOOOO PICKY??????

They are not chrome...........I think it might be a headache more than anything to return them, pay frieght, then have them reshipped. For all I know, the new ones they send can have a different kind of flaw......MAN MADE THINGS WILL ALWAYS HAVE FLAWS I GUESS.

Do you think it is worth the hassle?????????

I had the same problem with my Konig Caffiene's. they had some flaws and i ignored it. There ended up being a defect in one of my rims. There was a hole in the rim, causing my tire to leak air. Now i have Vault Jade's and couldn't be happier .... Definately get it taken care of.

Thats the exact mentality they probably hoped you would have when they tried to get rid of their defective rims on you. They should pay or reimburse shipping. Because if you plan to sell them later on, you'll be liable for the flaws.

take some pics email them the pics and talk to them via phone...and tell them to reimburse you or give you a discount on the rims since they have a defect in them...but if they are not willing to do that for you, say you want to return them...tell us how it works out

Certainly get them looked at. That little imperfection can soon become a major headache down the road. Which always means as soon as your warranty expires, that's when the headaches begin.

Contact Washington tire first, to make it right (replace or discount). If they don't do anything then go to the manufacture with a complaint about one of their distributors as well as the defects. YMMV
