Whats up everyone i just got my 03 Cl-S. Actually on lease but i had a few questions. 1 how fast are the last model preludes. This guy wants to race me and he has a aem CAI. Also has anyone raced a mustang gt?

Wussup, I'm from Baton Rouge too. I have a regular TL with intake, headers, and exhaust and I raced a 95-98 model convertible mustang GT and won. You should beat one because your probably a little faster than me? The newer one's are quicker but you still have a good chance of winning. I'm not sure about the hard tops but give it a shot. The newest Prelude 5 speeds run low 15's in the quarter mile and I've beaten every one I've raced (so far) so you should be able to take one. If it's an automatic you will beat it even worse. Are you planning on putting any mods on your CL-S?

i got the auto. I want to mod it but worried about the lease. i guess if i just take them off before i bring it back i should be ok. Where you at in BR. Maybe we can get together or something. I wanna get headers but need to save up.

 

I live about 10 min. from Florida blvd. We should get together and have a little run. I've raced a TL-S with intake and exhaust and I lost but I've never raced a stock type-S so it should be pretty close. I know a certified Honda mechanic that can install the headers(at a good price) if you need someone to when you get them. Also I get my car serviced at Acura of Baton Rouge and they've never hassled me about my mods.

 

if i install a CAI do i need to cut a hole in my car. When we installed the one in the prelude we had to cut a hole where his stok whole was to fit the pipe. Also is it a hard install taking out the resinator?

 

JT do you have tv's in your car?

 

I didn't need to cut anything to put my intake on but your's might be different since it's a type s. Taking out the resanator is a little hard, but it can be done without removing the bumper. Out of curiosity why do you ask if I have T.V.'s? But to answer your question yes, but it's my radio as well.
