I just took my car in for its 40,000 km servicing. The brakes had
been done (rotors replaced) at 25k and were pulsing again. I
mentioned that the tranny was shifting harshly sometimes and
asked them to "insepct" the trans fluid. (tranny hasn't been
misbehaving much at all but I figured I'd get the report "on the
record" just in case)

I had to pay for the oil change and tire rotation (all part of the 40k
service) but under warranty they replaced ALL 4 rotors + pads,
and did a transmission flush!!!

On the downside, the service writer noted "We rotated the tires
but did you know your fronts are bald!" Hmm .. I had kind
of noticed a lot of VSA light flashing and tire chirping lately ...
Maybe they figured "He burned the brakes up, burned the tires
off .. change the tranny fluid!!!!"

Oh well .. off to find better shoes ...
