a friggin truck, or suv backed up and smashed my grille so bad that the latch is broken and I can't open the hood. the bumper also got shoved down and there is 2" of seperation between the panels. I am so flamen pissed. I go out of my way to park away from door dings and stuff like this, and the time I do park with other cars this shit happens. its the 3rd time, and the worst by far. The thing that makes me maddest is that I was in the bank when it happened. a few days earlier I saw some dumb chick play bumper cars when she pulled out of a space with a damn navigator and thought nothing of it.

 

That really sucks man.

If you’re interested, I have a complete spare CHROME grill (Inner & Outer) from my car that is in the box and has never been used.
I’ll sell it to you cheap if you’re fixing this yourself and need it.

That's a heck of a lot like what happened to my car recently.
Similar damage, except much less extreme. In my case I slid on ide and we bumped fronts, but that damn big ass grill thing on his car went over my bumper and scratched the hell out of it.

I feel your pain. Luckily my hood still opens and all.
I haven't gotten an estimate on repairs yet.

thanks for the sympothy, I'll just try to straighten it out for now, since I'm pretty sure it'll happen again. any more damage, then I'll fix it. maybe I'll catch someone in the act of doing it and make them fix it all. at least its not a transmission that needs fixxing. Two weeks ago,about 10 friggin clowns were chillin on the corner and 2 of them were wrestling. one of them fell on my hood while I was at a red light. I almost ran him over since he just layed there and acted like nothing happened. then he stepped on my hood. I got so mad, I just got out of my car in the middle of the street and snuffed him. Some old guy tried to break it up and in all the chaos we started to throw punches again. all in all, I ended up with a slight ding in the hood and a swelled up eye and he ended up with a broken radio and a busted lip. I would have kept fighting if there weren't like 10 cars behind mine at the light . My car has bad karma

sorry to hear about all the shit with your car, im up in peekskill, sounds like yonkers is getting a little rough lately!! i havent seen a single CL-S up here in northern westchester at all....its kinda cool being the only one around, but it would be cool to meet other people with one around here...hope everything works out for your car, btw, what dealership did you buy it from??? Heart? Larchmont? I got mine at Heart up in Fishkill...good guys up there, good prices too.

 

same here, but there's a hand full of modded cls'. yonkers is getting ghetto and kinda like the bronx. its all good though. I got my car from scarsdale curry acura. dropp me a pm with your email and a # just incase we get a meet going. I got a list of like 14 people already...
