Starts fine when cold... I would go for a 30 minute drive for example. Go to one place then another, and then try to start it... first of all it takes longer to start it and then it just sputters a little bit and dies. next time it dies right away and maybe 4-5 times in a row like this. Then I start and press throttle in a bit, the motor shakes but revving then after maybe 20-40 seconds holding the gas pedal in the same spot I can feel the engine kinda stops shaking and RPMs starts climbing smoothly and after that I let go off the gas RPMs drop and then it idles normally. Then I drive without problems. This happened maybe 5 times already in the last couple months so obviously it's not an every day occurence. But this is annoying as hell and I know that something is wrong. No check engine or CEL lights go on at any time so I can't hook up my scanner to see which code it throws.

I just have an Icebox intake with K&N cone and few months ago I installed brand new Denso Iridium spark plugs. also put in a sound system and installed additional 0 gauge grounding wires. I also had some fuel valve replaced which was throwing a code about vacuum in the fuel tank.

What could it be? a faulty coil misfiring? fuel supply? injectors clogged? something with electrical? a battery perphaps (still have the original but it gives steady 12.6v )? Alternator?
What's wrong with my car? Please help.

 

I'd say a dirty IAC valve. Try cleaning it out, & the TB as well.

 

can someone post a diagram from the Hemls of the throttle body and IAC valve location ?

 

It's out there in a post somewhere. The IAC is attached to the TB directly underneath it. And the TB is that thing at the engine side of the intake tube.
