My CL @ Park Ave Acura today

Had to take it, after installing my H&R's on my own, kept hearing anoying clicks and klunks, they told me that it could be a re-adjustment, I also broke one of the bolts on the hub putting my 19's back on. I just hope they don't charge me much for that, they have not called back with an estimate. Any Ideas on how much I should expect to come out of my pockets for this? I think their labor rate is @ 90 an hour.

They gave me an RSX as a loaner, cute but no where near our CLS's. The only thing I noticed that I wish the CL's had was that you can keep it on 1st gear on SS for as long as you want, thing is slow as hell though, WEWWWfff...

The guy at PAA is like "you had the loaner to 120mph and you want us to be nice and fix things for free?"

It's great that they contribute to the site, makes me feel like I should take my car there to get that speaker rattle to go away...

I was joking about how fast he has had the car.

Rental car companies use GPS to let them know how fast the cars are travelling and if you sustain a speed of 90mph for a long period of time they will charge you with speeding at their rate. I read an article about it a while back. I am sure PAA nor any other dealership tracks how fast people take the loaner cars.

which one did you get? i've been to that place plenty of times.

a basic misunderstanding before about a loaner car and they got pissy for no reason.

they gave me one quote which i agreed on for 2 g's to fix my frame and axel.

then they call me back when i'm at work a day later and tell me its going to be an extra 1,500

so then i tell them if they are jacking the price up like that without letting me know, i'm calling my insurance company.

brought back the loaner car after the weekend and the guy gave me a couple snide remarks, (tom i think his name was) like "you should have brought the car back on friday" and i'm like

" you should have gave me the right quote."

I wasn't trying to scam them out of a car, but i guess thats what this guy saw when he looked at me.

They do great work, but just that one guy pissed me off. Automatically assuming that just because i'm a young kid i'm trying to take him for a ride.

the rest of the staff there is cool though. especially the parts department.

Tom is one of the nicest guys there. They don't run a rip-off shop. If they charged you $1500 more, then there was a reason for it.

right, but let me know. And don't make it seem as if i'm trying to keep the car and longer than i should have.

You pull out with a loaner car that i need to support my living, you know working.

When i'm in brooklyn, NY, about 1 hours away from where i picked up the car, don't call my and tell me that its more.

Also, don't make it seem when i bring the car back as if i was out joyriding in a blue fucking focus and that i didn't want to bring the car back.

thats what i'm saying. the work is fine, the other people are cool, just that. I don't like being made out as a scam artist when i didn't try to be.

^^^^ this was a JOKE, I have never taken my car to PAA and was saying that the guy from the dealership said this to KahRupt-CL-S03, but I was JOKING....

Dets - sucks that this happened, I am sure there was a reason for the price change, be lucky they called before starting the work.

nah, of course i'm appreciative. All i'm saying is that they made it seem as if i was trying to keep a BLUE FORD FOCUS (which i now called the fuckus) for a couple of extra days.

My step mother was in Greece at the time and i had a E320 Benz 2003 to drive around. I don't have all the time in the world to drive back a ford focus.

Granted i work pretty far away and stack up miles like a bitch but i just would like to deal without the sarcasm from that guy there.

PAA has always taken good care of me, have no complaints, and everyone there has treated me with the respect I deserve after spending over 30g's on their product, no questions asked as far as a loaner goes as long as your paper work is right. Other spots that give you the hassle is not even worth doing business with. We buy at places like this and pay out of our pockets for quality service and insurance (or like other people would call it "IN CASE SH!T), they mess up they pay, you mess up you pay, nice and simple, you guys should know this by now...

Here was the outcome fellas. Called Frank @ PAA, he was trying to save me as much as possible, I thank him for that. I needed to get a strut mount installed on the car that was defective, and he wanted me to get that done before they can align or adjust the struts so unfortunately they could not get done. I understood him being that I brought my headache over to them. As far as the stud goes, they were charging me $90 with install but I agreed on getting that done sometime next week when they are ready to get everything repaired at once. In the meantime I still left PAA with a smile; I did not even go there for this but just had mentioned a grove on one of the rear hubs and felt a small engine jerk on the car when I accelerated. Well PAA ended up replacing both of my rear rotors, brakes, and they found 2 defective motor mounts on the car. I left there with a aside of the other small issues I need to resolve...

Why can't other dealers follow PAA as an example of doing shit? Acura of Pleasanton and Stevens Creek in San Jo suck balls.
