My car is squeking like crazy!

Hey Guys,

My whole suspension is squeking like crazy. When every i go over a bump it just sounds like an old rust box. I just put on ct springs/ stock shocks, and there was no squeking for the first week or 2, but not it's horrible. Thing is before i got the springs on, i had a squeking from the front driver fenderwell, and a squelling sound whenever i turned the wheel at low speeds. The dealer couldn't find it, and said he retightened the whole front end to fact specs, but that didn't do anything. Now it's just worse. Any ideas??? Oh and there are the rubber isolaters on the rear springs.

I have the same problem after 20k miles on my CT springs. It seems like it is just the back of the suspension, but I'm sure it is just a matter of time before the front makes noises - Its pretty embarrasing going over speed bumps....Let me know if you figure it out

Perhaps cause you have stockers. Stock shocks really arn't made for any kind of drop. If they already had a few miles on them, a couple weeks on a drop could have blown them, which could cause all kinds of squeeks and rattles from the rough ride. I would look into new shocks.

If all the mounting bolts and nuts are tight, turn on the radio or replace the front struts.

Update:

I have no clue what happened, but i went to my local auto service place, they put it on the lift and when we were done trying to figure it out it just dissapeared again. I did spray some wd-40 the night before but i doubt that did much. I think that maybe putting it on the lift took the pressure off the suspension so maybe that fixed something temporarily.

My brother had this issue (on his TL) and they just need to grease the suspension arms...it is a known issue from what I understand. The dealer should know all about it.

Why would you use wd40?...it seems like the wrong product to fix this issue in the long term.
