My car was HIT hard.. NOT GOOD

Hey guys friday night i had my car parked outside my girlfriends house. And at about 9pm i'm watching tv and all of a sudden I here BOOMM.. So right away i jumped up wondering what in the world was that?? Then my girlfriends father and I go run outside and I see that my car wasn't there so then i look about 50 feet down the street my car is smashed and pushed into a bunch trees and shrubbery that was left on the street to be picked up by the garbage guys. To make a long story short the 18 year old girl who hit my car basically lost control and nailed my car she said that her foot slipped off the break once the air bags smashed her face and she then hit the gas and just pushed my car. Well i was going crazy i had to walk a block away in order to cool down.. So now its just time wait and see what happens either they total or fix it..HOW MUCH DOES THIS SUCK...

PICS TO COME
just be patient.

How the FUCK can you confuse the gas and the brake?

Unfortunate, to be sure. But these days, body shops can work miracles.

This is EXACTLY the reason why I never park my car on the street-ever! Before I had my first car but could drive, I had my Dad's 64 chevy impala convertible parked right in front of the movie theater where I worked. Good! I can keep an eye on it. Not five minutes went by, and the car was sideswiped. I even saw it happen, but whoever did it never stopped.

When my sister hosts holiday dinners, her drive will hold four cars. If full, I can convienently park on the street, maybe 40 feet from the front door, or park in the empty grade school parking lot two blocks away. I opt for the long walk.

Never park on the street if you can avoid it. That's where all the moving cars are.

Good luck getting it fixed. Better it got hit rather than YOU.

What was the 18 year old girl driving? I mean, most cars in America have the gas on the right, and the brake on the left.....I think it's standard or something....

Glad to hear you are OK, cars can be replaced, YOU cannot.

There is little convincing needed. Most can't.

This is why I think that it needs to be harder to get your liscence in NJ and everywhere. I mean, the test to get your liscence is so easy that if you fail it, especially more than once, serious thought should go into wether you get your liscence. Some girl hit my dad's truck a few years back, but instead of avoiding the accident, she just plows into his truck.

Sorry about the car. But like everyone said, the car can be replaced and you can't. You have a lot of will power to walk away. I would of probably been ready to kill her.

Oh yeah, lets see pics.

That wouldn't total his car. It wouldn't even total mine and its a 2001 CL-P. Usually it has to be at least 80% of the value of the car to be totaled.

That sucks though that it costs so much. What was damaged? You could use this as a time to do some crazy mods like add a SEMA style bodykit.

But don't you realize the car is not stopped when the crunching noise doesn't go away? So you obviously must be hitting the wrong pedal. Yes, it is easy to get disoriented after being hit with a bag, but to push his car that far is absurd. And ya some points are valid, but he says she was a bitch about it afterwards. After hitting his parked car? WTF! You should be apoligizing for messing up someones car, not giving THEM an attitude.

Just curious, what was she driving? It takes a lot of force to move a car as big as ours that far unless you hit it hard (going way to fast) while driving an Expedition or something.

well very true..ur points are valid also...

but whats confusing about the story is, he said she lost control and the airbags came out, then she it the gas and hit his car...so she had to of hit something before she hit his car....or was it her hitting his car that made the airbags pop out and then she hit it again?

What happen was she was making a right hand turn at the same time as another car making a left had turn the onto the street where my car was parked so instead of hitting the other car she decided to hit the nicely cleaned and polished black CLS which deployed the airbags and disoriented her causing the FUCKING DUMB bitch to hit the gas once again and push my perfect conditioned car literally 50 ft. She was driving a older infinity smaller one hardly any damage i'm still in shock.. Another thing that i'm still wondering about is that there are no skid marks what so ever in the street. looks like my car was picked up and placed in the spot!!I wish!!

I got in a really bad accident a few weeks back, too. I was headed out for a little while, and this crazy biotch in an SUV decided to pull out of the shopping center she was in...5 FEET INFRONT OF ME. She then proceeded to stop in the MIDDLE of the road, so as I was trying to slam on my brakes and swerve behind her, I ended up smashing into her rear driver side. I had about 15K in damage while she at most got like $2000 tops. I was so pissed. But, her insurance is paying for it
