That sucks........looks like the car hit someone, then was pushed against a divider.

We need a moment of silence....

So what happened? That looks awful!!!

It hurts to even think about it now...why did you have to post those pics? I think I've been traumatized....I know I won't be sleeping tonight!!!

We all need to be more careful out there!

12 am after work driving about 80 when I hit something in the rd or a dip when the tires lost grip (guess) I was in the left hand lane about 1 to 2 feet from the cement barrier. The car went left into the barrier bounce off came back hit a pickup truck spun him around and I did a 360 and landed against another cement barrier.

I am thankful to be alive. If I was 10 feet farther back I would of hit the metal barrier and and fallen 100/150 feet to my death. I have learned my lesson. Its sad to say but this accident has taught me alot. Life is too precious and not something to take for granite

It didnt seem like it was ur fault so u shouldnt be so hard on urself. Maybe u were going too fast for the road conditions but we all make mistakes and learning the lesson is the essential thing afterwards.

Sorry about the financial loss and the extra headaches all this will cause

Dude that sux! for the both of you! but hopefully you didnt get seriously hurt, and wont be too stiff from the shock.
BTW, i read the other post about the Legend. My friend gave me his '91 legend with over 100k mi and a blown head, I rebuilt everything! Head gasket kit cost me $800! I did engine work(heads, new radiator, thermostat, fuel injectors, lines, plugs) interior(new door switches, window regulators, handles, various harnesses) suspension, new rotors, lines, new tires, telescoping antenna, and too much other things to remember! drove it a while and then trade it in for a first gen CL. I got $8,000 for it with 115,000 miles! but i bought everything from that acura dealer, so they all knew what went into it. Also I have pics of a 6 speed if you want. It is a great car, just make sure you get leather, the velour dosent last! Good luck!!!

Glad to hear you are alright. A car wreck is never a pleasant experience...I know, did that 2 months ago to my GSR. But being in something that looks this serious is an eye opener. Just be more careful out there....but sometimes, these things happen beyond our control.

Just be grateful you're okay...the car can always be replaced!

Take care bro! Let us know what your next ride will be!

I don't know about that... depending on the isnurance compnay it usually only takes repairs costing HALF the owrth of the vehicle for it to be totalled... frame damage, suspension damage, wheels, airbag, almost all the body panels/doors/pillars are either scraped up really bad/bangedup/ or bent... I'd figure that car is pretty dang totalled or the repairs would cost at least 10-15K... at least at a dealership with their high costs and using Honda/Acura OEM parts... I've seen insurance companies total out cars w/ much less damage to them...

Well dude I know how you feel. I lost my old car to an accident that wasn't my fault either, but look on the bright side, your O.K. and don't worry about the car, it's not that bad. Unless you work out a deal with the Ins. company to take the car, they'll most likely fix it. ( I used to work at a body shop, and I've repaired vehicles with much more damage) Just make sure you choose a reputable shop.

well about the headlights...

When i had the car they were cleared, then they fogged up a little.. i got them resealed. When Mike bought my car I told him about it, and he said he was just going to buy new headlights so he doesnt have to worry about fogging. So then he just sold the cleared ones.

Still, with the conversion involved I think you're best off getting an aftermarket one, unless you need to have that voice :P
