the first four inches under the mirror is down to the metal. the rest is weird since it seems to have rubbed, and i dont think keys rubbed white paint. I have no idea what did it but I am pissed. Any ideas???

bro your screwed that can't be buffed out. I would file a claim and pay my $500 deductable and and have insurance dish out the rest of the money to get the car painted. The ins co. might try and pull shit though like only painting the portion that got keyed. I am in a simila situation with my TL as someone keyed across the hood. Fortuatly it was only a small part of the drivers side front fender and accross the hood. My hood can be repainted or replaced but when they key the sides of your car that is a real bitch because it will have to be repainted...

I know how you feel, i got a 2002 ABP tls and it got keyed in the exact same place, only its really deep. i took it to a few body shops and they all said that i need to repaint. Im thinking of repainting the whole car, because the paint on this car SUCKS. its already chipping and it looks 5 years old.

I came back from the shop. $1404 is the damage. They have to blend the paind before and after, so that means the fender and the quarter panal. I have a 500 deductable and a rental. Now its up to them. As for the pissing someone off. I have no idea, it doesn't take much these days.
