My car is back!!! Well, kinda...

That's right, kids. One of the biggest whiners on the board is about to get his beloved PDG CL-S back after officially having been out of commission for 27 days. Why the joy you ask after all of the shit I spew here on a daily basis? I honestly do enjoy my car. No, really.

After spending the last three weeks in the '02 Deville that handles like the Queen Victoria II, I CANNOT WAIT to get back behind the wheel of the Golden Droid. You don't know SHIT about poor handling until you pilot this 4,000 pound beast. Responsive steering? OH YEAH! Just don't turn the wheel more than a quarter of an inch lest you end up on the other side of the median. The only, and I mean ONLY thing I will miss about the Caddy is that KILLER V8 torque that you can tap into at speed. Hmm... can you sandwich a longitudinal V8 into the CL and swap the drivetrain for RWD?

You want more laughter and finger pointing? You ready? You sure? I would actually get a TL-S next April when my lease is up if Acura could give me just the slightest indication that they are working on more than re-manufactered trannies and that I could have some assurance that this fiasco would not happen again via a completely re-engineered tranny for the J32...

Really? I couldn't figure that out by the way it PLOWED through every corner. I KNOW that, I just want a V8 in a RWD CL.

Glad to hear you're getting your CL-S back Droid. Tell me what Neil says about break in time on the new tranny. He was busy when I picked up my CL, and the Rep who gave me the car didn't mention any break in period.

When they replaced my transmisson on my 1998 Accord Coupe V6-ex, they said no need to break it in ! I'll assume the same.

So drive on and enjoy !
