hey so do you guys know if oppening up the trottle will help the intake suck in more air because as i was opening it i could hear it getting louder and louder i was also thinking if this could become a risk to my car because my cousin told me about it being better for the intake btw i have a aem v2 for my 01 clp

Yea, that screw is not supposed to be touched. Thats the idle adjustment screw. There is absolutely no gain to be had by turning that. Adjust it back down to where it should be.

It's the idle control screw.
If you turn it one way (CCW I belive) it raises your idle (the RPM you engine runs at when you don't push on the gas) This means that then you will be sucking more air, because you're using more fuel. This means your Air filter will wear out slightly faster, not a big deal, but not worth it because there are no gains. turn it back to where it was. I can't remember what our idle speed is supposed to be, hopefully someone can go check.

When Im in the Civic though, I get these Mustangs and Camaros picking on me all the time. Its fun because my car looks stock, is somewhat loud, and would beat most of them.
Its even better when I get the aforementioned ricers trying to race me. Most of the time on the highway I dont even need to shift, just leave it in top gear and Im out

Its funny, when Im driving the CL and I see a Civic with a wing or something, the first word out of my mouth is "Ricer".
