I started my car and was driving down the road and then my subs cut off and i smelled this burning..... so i pulled over and poped the trunk. My amp was smoking pretty heavily, luckly i had a screwdriver in my car so i could disconect the wire going into the amp. Im looking to get a JL Audio 300 series amp now, i think but well see.

btw: My car smells really bad now
