MY 6-Speed CL commercial
Let me come up with a good commercial since Acura doesn’t know how.
What do you think ???

The commercial starts out showing the view forward through the windshield of a twisty country road as the car zips around one corner after the next.
The V6 revs up and down through gears and the camera switches to a view of the drivers feet at each shift as he rows up and down through the power band several times.
The camera only shows the front view, feet and shifter....Nothing about what car it is.
After 20-seconds of showing the car cutting through the corners, the narrator comes on and says something like this:
For years it has been well known that to get the most out of your driving experience you had to visit your local BMW dealership to purchase a German engineered “enthusiast” car.
Camera cuts to the forward view again as the driver slows down and approaches a BMW dealership on the right.
All of a sudden the driver downshifts to second and the wheel jerks hard to the left and the ACURA logo on the building comes into view.
Camera pans back as the driver and dealer get out of the car after the test drive showing the first look at the exterior of the car from the front.
The driver gets out, smiles and says....“I’ll take it”.
Narrator comes back on:
“Introducing the limited edition Acura CL Type-S”.
Now available with short throw 6-Speed MANUAL transmission, Limited slip differential and 260 Horsepower V6 engine.
Camera pans to show the BMW dealership across the street.
“Better equipped and 6,000 dollars less then the other.....driving machine”.
What do you think ???

Now that would be a cool commercial 
Obviously, somthing like this would never happen, and can acura even say stuf about bmw or other companys like that....any type of copyright infringment or anything like that? But that would def. be cool, and if i saw that, it would def. make me want to at least go test drive one. Good thinking Shawn. (Bored today by any chance??? :P )

Nice, but how about when the driver and dealer get out of the car you see they are really hot naked chicks! Then they dance around all sexy like....awesome. Then they show the BMW dealership across the street and there's like guys in G-strings dancing and the narrator says "Dude, don't be a homo, buy the Acura."

But, I do like the ad. You missed your calling being an engineer. The 'artsy stuff' is the direction you should have taken buddy!!

Where the hell you been ???
I was just up at the dealer AGAIN today, and they’re still saying it is looking to be around the third week of March.
Payoff is computed, trade appraisal is done, and loan is approved.
All I need now is the FREAKING CAR !!!!!!

What did you pay for the 6spd or is the price yet to be determined? Do you have signed paperwork for the deal? I don't trust car salesmen...they always have the advantage until you get it signed in blood. If you haven't nailed down an exact price, go to edmunds.com and they have lots of good info on how to score the best deal and beat the a-hole salesman at his own game. The info is listed under "What to know before buying a new car."

Trade is 24K, which I think is quite good considering what people are buying used ones for right now.
10% off accessories.
It’s my FOURTH new Acura there and they take good care of me.
You’re not going to get a “deal” on a 6-Speed for a few months unless you’re related to the dealer.

in my opiion the best commercial would
3 series bmw and cl-s racing hi on mountain with one lane each direction and it shows how each of drivers change gears to approch a destination high in mountains both vehicles have navi system but each time when cl-s shift it rips forward from bmw and as they aproach the top the is a hard left turn which cl-s manages to get into but bmw crashes and then cls stops and presses on-star button to report accident

im not too hot on these mountain ideas.. a fwd 3500 lb car pretending to be corner carver? not on those michelins and the slow steering ratio.. they'd get hit with a suit for false advertising for sure.. when will honda just let this fwd crap go.. even small time subaru is awd everywhere..
