are my 5zigens that loud?
well last sunday i was pulling out of my driveway and this guy in his 60's is walking his dog.. I drive about 2 houses down maybe going 15mph maybe (I respect the people in my neighborhood and will not speed, bump music at all. ect.) and the guy yells at me saying slow down..I was like WTF so i slow down to a stop and tell the guy im going 15mph and its a 25mph zone. I mean from my driveway to the end of the street to turn onto the main rd is like 4 houses down so how fast can i really go? Anyways the guys starts screaming and shit and he tells me next time he sees me hes gonna rip me out of my car and beat me. I start laughing at him and tell him im gonna sue him for threating me. (just for shits and giggles and he stopped immediatley bc im not gonnna start with a old man)
anyways are my 5zigens that loud and annoying? Ive heard civics and other rice mobiles pass me doing 35 and my door and floor shake from there vibration..to me thats fawkin loud. I used to have an hks exhaust with a high flow cat, intake, y pipe ect on my01 max and never had anyone say it was loud and comparing them to the 5 zigens the the zigens are a little louder esp for just an axle back and no other exahust work from the inside. I havent heard my car driving away from myself so...

they are probably one of the loudest exhausts out there. Those tube style canisters are fucking loud!! You have the fireballs right? I had that on my car for a little while and it was fucking obnoxious. Then I went to the Apex'i N1 and that was a little quieter but still ricey as shit, then that cracked and I got the Greddy SP and it sounds :tits:

the greddy is real quiet, esp just cruising. Even when I get on it it's no where as loud as the others i've had. The SP stands for sound performance that should say it all.
I've always wanted to compare loudest to quietest so based on this and other posts, I think it would be:
5Ziggen (loudest)
Apexi
Tanabe
Thermal R&D
HKS Dragger
Comptech (especially at 2k rpm)
Greddy SP
Comptech w/inserts
Stock
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on the sequence as I'd like to know. I'd like a 350z sounding set of mufflers myself.
