Oh yea baby, my slow piece of shit won a race. Friday night, me and this beetle line up next to each other, ready to make a left onto I-4. He's on the right of me, and i see him through my tint, checkin out the rims, and then he starts revving. So i'm like ok, havent really had a race in a while, lets go for it. So the light turns green, and he gets the jump. (5 spd). but i make up for it in the sharp corner, he has to slow down, but my tires are giving me really good grip and i just rip through the turn and pass him. Then I downshift to D2 and punch it, so does he. I see him right next to me, but then i pull away, albeit very slowly. The 2 lane road is merging into a 1 lane road, so if he doesnt beat me, he's gonna have to get behind me or smack into a wall. And.....I WIN! He had to get behind me, he couldnt pass my cold air intake havin, otherwise stock, 19inch rim ridin, system in the back slow 2.2.

Even the turbo is pretty slow, you should be able to take them in the 3.0..

Maybe it's modded.. because the Beatle turbo is slower than the Jetta or Golf turbo. The 3.0 v6 should be able to walk all over them.
