My 01 Type S is sick - Need HELP!
Any info on the following is greatly appreciated...
I am at 98,000 mi with my completely stock CL-S - with all sched maint performed by Acura. Just had the tranny replaced under warranty (along with PCM, and fuel pressure regulator). After the service, car occasionally has a loud noise at idle, almost like knocking. When I accelerate at WOT from low speed (~20mph) the service engine light flashes, then stays on and the VSA is disabled. This happens every time. VSA will reset upon restart, but service light stays. Other than that, car is fine.
Dealer said codes sighted misfire in one cylinder bank and suggested replacing EGR valve, which I did myself this morning. No change, same thing still happens. I've got to believe the change in tranny/PCM did something, as this was never a problem before.
Anyone have any clues or experience something similar? I am looking to sell/trade it by January, so I am not sure if its worth fixing. Thanks.

A working car wil get you more money than one that runs poorly, I would have the dealership fix it. Just pawn the problem off on the Dealer. None of these problems were present before the ecu tranny change, right? I think they fucked something up
