Muriatic Acid

Anyone know where i can get Muriatic or Hydrocloric Acid from? I need to take the mirror backing off some glass

You can probably find some at a hardware store. I know you can get sulfuric acid from pipe/drain cleaners.

Go to a hardware store and alot of the plumbing chemicals have HCL in it.

I work at a lab. If you need some just holla. But it has to picked up of course.

Nope, go to a pool supply store such as Leslie Pools. Had to get this stuff over the summer.

Like Ronnie said, any good harware store has it, alot of brick layers use it to clean brick...

Yes Home Depot will certainly have it...

Don't look in plumbing, look in the ceramic tile area. Muriatic Acid is the same a Hydrochloric Acid. It's used to remove cement haze & grout from finished tile. Also etches garage floors to accept epoxy, etc. You can buy a 1 gallon jug for about $8. If Home Depot is out, try Lowe's.

Trust me, I've used my fair share of it removing haze from 1-man tiling jobs...
