Mugen Thermostat Question

I live in hot and humid florida.
If I install the Mugen T-Stat will I be running better 1/4 mile times in the hot weather? Will it help performance.

Not sure. I have it. Had is since November. So far the car runs cooler. The temp gauge is only less then 1/2 up now. Used to be half way. The high heat doesn't make the car that slugish like it used to be. Real test will be in the Summer I guess. You won't see any power gains from it. However the car should get better #'s in the 1/4 or dyno's since the car will be running a bit cooler. And you will loose less power in the heat.

Yes thats what im asking, no power gains, but in a way more power as it makes the car think its in cooler weather=better time=better performance

I did a search early tonight on google for the Mugen thermostat and most of the sites came back sayin it was for civic's or integra's or B type engines.

But is that the same thermostat that is used on our cars?

In addition, the page ... LINK

Does not list a thermostat for the CL, but for other honda/acura vehicles, so which one fits our car?

Thanks.

You other guys should use the search to know what parts to use and how they were determined. King Motorsports does not list the CL. I went through every Fan Switch and T-Stat to determine which were the correct units.

Hrmm,

Airfare = $600
Hotel = $200
Rental = $100
Travel Time = $825
Labor = $85

Total = $1810

You could probably get it done for less at a local shop or the delear. :P
