Mr. Fbazakos
Hey Aaron,
I actually had my cousin over last night. We opened the box with the springs, and looked over the instructions. He looked a little worried since he didn't see our car listed on the sheet. I'm like NO SHIT, nobody actually makes springs for our car except comptech. (for everybody else, this is the eibach pro-kit #4041.140). One funny thing, on the rear springs, there is a plastic tube coating around like one coil right in the center. We couldn't figure out why, maybe just protection for shipping or something. But we made a deal, I'm looking for a XS fuel pressure regulator and pump for him, along with a skunk2 intake manifold, and he's looking thru the shop manual at work. Hopefully we will get it done this week sometime.

the platic coating thing is to prevent the springs from making that noise in the rear that you have probally read some people have
I believe Mr CLPower is correct. It's to prevent the springs from slapping against one another. I used to have that problem with my Accord back in the day. I put wire loom around it to take care of the problem.
If you have any questions putting those springs in feel free to email me.

It's interesting, the plastic is on the coils that have the biggest space in them. The ones that are wound closely together (progressive) do not have the plastic. I got the compressor, shop manual, air tools, now i just need a lift
