Not too sure exactly what's busted, but this should help with part numbers.

Sorry, I checked the CL, not TL. Seems reasonable if it includes labor. How many miles do you have on your car? I have an 01 CL and they warrantied mine when they were busted.

I paid $230 for the front mount (installed at the dealer) so your quote seems quite high for the same part.

ive just installed and repaired mine... the side mount i filled with window weld...it is a hydro mount just not vacuum acctuated..it it were me id do the same to your front mount, and or rear if they are both damaged...it'be about 30 or less worth of material...they are not too bad to get out...you'll wanna remove the black bracket above the side mount for access to it and lossening at minum is required to get either the front or rear out...both come out from the top...one last you'll wanna remove the two huge blocks of rubber next to the rear mount to get it out....i did not reinstall these...no noticeable vibration as these are vibration dampers and weigh almost 10 lbs

typeR,

Window weld as in the stuff they secure windshield glass with?

Can you explain more about how you fixed your mounts?

I had my front motor mount replaced by a local mechanic. $150 parts and labor. OEM part too.

Did you think to call Acura Customer Service? Honda covered the cost of all my motor and trans mounts. I was out of warranty over 60k miles, and the Acura dealer quoted me an astronomical price to repair. I suggest a phone call before you spend the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. My

I started here: Acura Owners Link. Also asked my local Atlanta Acura Dealer to make a call to the Honda Regional Rep. Going in two directions at once did the trick.

What did I say to Acura Customer Service when the dealer quoted me the price for the repair: "This sucks, first the trans went north; then the motor mounts. My '01 CL-S is clean and no accidents. I think the trans contributed to the broken mounts. Please cover the repair."

All I know is one of the calls did the trick, because the repair bill was nada, zero, no mullah, no denaros, nothing.

Please keep in mind that I never take "No" for an answer. I will elevate to the highest person until the answer is This cost less than forking out unnecessary repair $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Go for it!
