Motor Mounts - NEED HELP!

Can someone with a manual look and see if there is a "test procedure" to check if your motor mounts are blown?

I have done the "torque-brake method" of checking in forward and reverse. And the engine doesn't "jump up", but it does raise about an inch and a half under heavy torque braking.

I know that the front one is oil filled and vacumn assisted/activated. I can lift up and down on the SC shaft and the engine moves about an inch. Most of the "play" seems to be at the rubber motor mount near the strut tower. There appears to be a 3/4" gap between the inner rubber hub and the outer rubber ring. Is that acceptable according to the manual? Or is it worn out?

I've already gone thru the front one, which was covered under warranty before I installed the SC. Now, I'm noticing that same vibration and harshness in the road feeling transmitting thru the chassis like before the first one was replaced. I have since installed the SC, done dynos, raced, driven it hard, etc...etc... I don't want to pay the dealer to R&R it with the SC - I'll do it myself if any are bad.

All feedback is highly appreciated!
