Anyone broken a motor mount before???
I had the tranny swapped almost 4 month and 6k miles ago...I've been feeling something odd in the pedal and hearing a slight clunk for the last week or two. Got on it this morning and it really clunked, and sure enough, the lower motor mount was broken and is being replaced right now by the dealer.
Is this something that was likely a result of the tranny swap or could it have been normal, though apparently awfully early in the life of the car (20 months and 40k miles)?

 

it's pretty common ...ill bet alot of broken mounts are out there and the owners dont even know...i had front and rear replaced...the rear was pretty bad the whole top was tourn away from the rest of the mount
