I hate waiting for another 2 weeks, but it's the only way to go.
Since this weekend is the last weekend I could go to the track and see what the headers have done for my times, I have time to wait.

In the meantime, it won't stop me from having a little fun running on the street. I will however make it interesting as I won't be able to jump on it until I get going so I don't wheel hop. It made a little run I had with a Saab 2.3 turbo a little interesting to start with. Not sure what he had, but he thought he had enough to mess with me. After he took the jump he had almost 2 car lengths on me before I could floor it, but then I reeled him in and put 3 or more car lengths on him by time I got out of 3rd gear. Silly Saab.

I'm going to start a new thread with a poll for the options Excelerate will offer as soon as we get a firm price for those options. Specifically looking at the following.

Auto Front & Rear
Auto Front, Rear and Side
Manual Front & Rear
Manual Front, Rear and Side

I don't expect or recall anyone just needing the side, so this should be the primary options. If not, let us know what you need.

Actually the only thing available right now is the front and rear mounts for the A/T 2nd gen CL/TL. The side mount is on its way to Innovative and I'm pretty sure the side mounts are the same for M/T and A/T. The rear mount from distorted has reached Innovative and that is being produced. So unless anyone just wants front and rear we have a little waiting to do. If you want just front and rear and you have an A/T make a list and I will do a GB for you guys.

I can't even keep up with this thread! All I know is that I want to be invoiced for the street setup (not track) for front/rear motor mounts for the 6-speed CL. So whenever this is all said and done can you please invoice me via Google Checkout. Thanks!

sorry for the confusion guys. i thought the side mount was 6speed only. (i didn't read) so a quick summary is that the rear mount for the 6speed is currently being fabricated. the side mounts for both 6 speed and auto are also being fabricated.

so wasn't someone going to start a buy thread to get a list going for who wanted what?? here is what i got from reading the entire thread over again. EXCEL please correct me if i have something listed incorrectly. i also never saw any post for how much the mounts would cost if we do not have 10 people for a package.

Auto Front & Rear (available now) ($250 GB=10 people)

Auto Front, Rear and Side (approx 2-3 weeks) (price TBA ~$325)

Manual Front & Rear (approx 2-3 weeks) (price TBA ~$250)

Manual Front, Rear and Side (approx 2-3 weeks)(price TBA ~$325)

I'm in for the A/T, probly F,R,S. Is there a significant benefit to getting all 3 or is the side one less of an issue? I'll definitely get F/R

This is what I'm wondering as well, I've never heard of replacing the side motor mounts for performance reasons.

Actually most motor mount kits include a front, rear and side mount.

Ive seen just as many side mounts wear out as the fronts on the TL. I would personally want all 3

if i go w/the front/rear on an 01 cls will it place undue stress on the side mount? the side mount is never been replaced but i only have 67k miles on the car.

can anyone guesstimate what the performance gains of the 75 would be over the 60?

That's actually a good question. Although I don't have any empirical evidence I would have to guess that the answer would be yes. However, IMO the front and rear mounts take more abuse than the side mount. So yes you may find yourself eventually replacing the side mount but I don't know if I would say solely due to front and rear mounts. I think the side mounts tend to fail on this car also, as Kris mentioned.

Sign up people these mounts worked great for me, but the 7th gen Accord mounts were not perfect needed some work on the rear mount since they made the front and rear the same and thats not the best way to go, however wheel hop becomes non-existent if not negligable, given that your suspensions and tires are up o the task of course.
