Most common problems with the CL

Obviously we all know about the transmission issues with this car, however I'd like to see what other kind of problems the CL has had. Vibrating steering wheels, bad SRS sensors, bad side air bag sensors, suspension creeping, torque converter causing jerkiness, etc.. etc.. etc.. Compiling a list of problems could really help us all see what we could potentially face in the future. Let me know if this has already been done but I couldn't really find anything like it on acl

Bad brakes, squeaky sunroof, 4x4 wheelgap, depreciation...but I love my 6 speed.

I hate these kind of questions. I don't think any of those are actually "common," when compared to the number of CLs produced. Except one common thing would be rattles in the cabin, such as the rear deck. My cupholer won't open, but I don't think that's common.

Besides the tranny and rotor issues there aren't too many other common problems with the CL. Sure every car is gonna have its share of problems for every owner but none that are common to all.

expense-wise, definitely speeding tickets - my non-modded CL-S likes to cruise at 80mph turning about 2200 rpms; that and the time my CL told me to blow by the undercover cop at 95 in a 60, but he was driving slow in the left lane on 485 in charlotte...

the mechanical stuff was covered under warranty - the self warping brake rotors suck but i can deal with that. the tranny blew out at 23K so it's covered for 100K more.

The rear sway bar end links. Left one was discovered broken in April by the dealer while I was getting an oil change. Then the right one broke 2 days after they replace the left. Then they change the bar and both end links and now the right one is broken again the day after they change the whole setup. Seems that when I'm in the parking garage and am going up those ramps. the weight of the car shifts and the end-links break.
The funny thing is, didn't know that they were broken until the first one was discovered by the dealer. Now everytime I'm in the garage, I go slow and listen and show enough, you can hear when it breaks as the car is rounding the curve on the ramp going up. Never had a sway bar end link break on any other of my vehicles.
Now I'm just going to order the comptech sway bar. Hope that this is the last time I'll have to deal with this.

My worst problem at this time is after 4 years, all glass windows inclduing the front windshiels are acid itched making visibility and driving under rain dangerous...
