more track times from today....

conditions were pretty good today, 72 deg outside

i get to the track right away with plans of trying to get in alot of runs before the lines start getting long but the tech wasnt even there to check in our cars so we had to wait for him to come, funny thing is that they dont even look under my hood or in my trunk everytime i go.

droped the fronts to 28psi, and the backs up to 39psi

first run of the day off a 2.20 60' i go 14.32@98.5, when i was at the track 4 days ago i went 14.5@97 on an exact same 60', that shows what a 15 degree drop can do to your times

2nd run i go 2.22 onto another 14.3

little sprinkles of rain fell for a sec so they closed the track for like 15 minutes, when we went back out the traction wasnt as good, ran a 14.4x off a 2.26 60' but i barked 2nd gear soo hard i could of sworn my car shifted like a foot to the right

next run i thorw the keys to my lil bro and the newb nails the rev limiter to a 14.6 1/4

rain starts to fall again but hard this time so we left..

some times from other cars...

my cousins caddy cts 3.6l went 15.2@90
04 gtp stock -15.2, suprised when he got walked by me, thought i was spraying when i talked to him after
03-04 cobra, modded w/ new pulley, exhuast, etc etc--couldnt hook up for shit i actually beat him to the 1/8th, he said he couldnt catch 2nd but man when he hooked up he just fuckin flew past me like i was in reverse 12.8@120mph
stage 2 srt4-13.9@100
auto camaro SS i/e on dr's 13.3's@106

i'm still on my quest for 13.9, i'm thinking its possible w/ near perfect conditions and a day where the track isnt busy

Thats cool Darrin. I saw that it was grey as hell out in the morning and decided it wasnt worth the drive, especially since I would've had to leave early anyway.

If I can pull a sub 2.20 60' I'll be in the 14.2's also. I'm hoping I can get close to 98mph, my best so far is like 97.3, but that was with not so great weather.

turn the car off between runs and push it to the staging area if possible.
